Four Koi Fish Burl Wood and Resin Night Light

Hand-Carved Burl Wood and Illuminated Epoxy Diorama

Four detailed orange and white Kohaku koi swim through a suspended underwater landscape in this handmade tabletop piece. The sculpture is shaped into a geometric polygon frame, bordered by raw, textured burl wood on the upper left and lower right corners. The natural grain of the wood contrasts directly with the polished clear resin body.

An integrated LED light source in the base illuminates the interior. The light catches swirling white ink patterns cast inside the resin, giving the appearance of smoke or moving current around the fish. Each koi is positioned at a different depth to create a realistic sense of three-dimensional movement.
